Resize your Watch Band


If you have a unisex watch, your band can be resized to fit your wrist. With the connector at the end of the band facing away from you and with prong side down, insert the tool into the pin hole; then turn it forward (away from you) about 30 degrees. Push the pin toward the front of the watch and hold it in that position. Tighten or loosen both sides equally to adjust size.

Measure the circumference of your wrist with a cloth measuring tape or a piece of string and a ruler.

Slip off band from watch by holding onto connector end while pulling out spring bar tool. then move to last link on new band and using same technique as described above for watch band, use tool to pry apart link.

Put watch band back on by inserting the spring bar into one side of the new band and then inserting it’s pin into hole directly above last link on old band (skip over spring bar holes) at about 3 o’clock (9 o’clock in photo). Use slight pressure to pry open the link. Push the bar end of spring bar tool into first hole on new band and push to connect with pin on watch case, then remove spring-bar tool from band.

Cut the band to the correct size using sharp scissors – be sure to cut on the inside of the marked line so that it’s not too tight on your wrist .

Attach the new link to your watch band by inserting the spring bar into one side of the new link. Then insert it’s pin into hole directly above last link on old band (skip over spring bar holes) at about 3 o’clock (9 o’clock in photo). Use slight pressure to pry open the link. Push the bar end of spring bar tool into first hole on link you are attaching to your watch band, then push to connect with pin on watch case. Remove spring-bar tool from band.

Insert the connectors on each side of the new link into the remaining holes in your watch until it fits snugly around your wrist .
